Antenna Adapter?

Hey guys, my son wants a new radio for his 81 c1500.

Will I need an antenna adapter for an 81?

I don't recall which years GM had the small antenna plug.

Autosounds Radio, love mine. Crutchfield sells it along with a factory harness adapter, no cutting required. I’m using the stock speakers, the Bluetooth is nice.
