do u wanna sell it

No, I don't want to sell it. I am just tickled to have it sitting here and glad it can be used. PM me about it and we will make the arrangements to get it to you. I just ask you to bear with me because the CRS disease is taking a hold on me as well as carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders.

That looks like the one I yanked out of my '90. They must have went to that setup when they changed the core support in '89. The '88 and earlier use a simple little adapter with a baffle in it, that holds the tub to the core support. The newer one still might work in place of an older one though, I think I'll go check it out.

The one he is talking about was 86 and earlier...was just a plastic adaptor in the rad support.

My 88's is the same as my '83, '84 and the '86 that Towjoe has now.

At any rate, looks like the newer one won't work on older trucks without modifications. However, I did realize that I have an extra one from my '83 that I won't be using. PM me your address and I'll send it your way.

Good job guys. Who'da ever thunk we'd be talking about the styles of air intake boxes on different years of squares? I had no idea there would be different ones.

Well, we did have a discussion about overflow bottles once too. We are kind of like the muscle car restoration purists in a way, soon we'll be discussing the stamping marks used on fender bolts over the years, lol.

Yeah, that's the kind it is. It's from the passenger side like my other ones, I think there's a knock-out on the driverside where the adapter could possibly go there too. That's off memory though, didn't look at that today.
