Aftermarket mirrors

Hey all, thinking about upgrading my mirrors on my 87 gmc. Options seem limited but thought I would ask. The stock mirrors are not the greatest. Definitely want better visibility. Any ideas or what you have done? Thanks

I have the single, kinda oval mirrors. I tow occasionally just wondering if there is a decent upgrade

Imho, just add a little blind spot mirror to those. The newer Chevy mirrors are ugly as sin, they look like even more a$$ when retrofitted to a squarebody... and visibility is not that much greater either. The only benefit for visibility is the blind spot mirror.

Ya either leave the dumbos or put on GM period correct towing mirrors.
Only aftermarket style I’d consider would be California mirrors. Those look bitchin on a squarebody imo.

100x this! Blind spot button mirrors do work wonders. Have had these on all my squares with those mirrors, aside my current. Still waiting to find the stainless ones instead of the plastic crap ones I've got on it now.

I think the shaft diameter is the same....but I'd have to go to the yards and check. The LKQ near me has several OBS trucks that have those mirrors, and some squares that do too.
