I have an L86 with a 8L90 I'm going to put in my 79 K10. I have a np208 that im going to mate with the 8L90. I already have a rebuild kit for the 208 with a 32 spline input shaft. I know the input shaft needs to be machined down to accept the O ring that's on the output shaft of the 8L90.
Is there anyone on here that has done this and can give a better explanation of the process and what exactly needs to be done?
