'89 K5 Blazer

I've got an '89 K5 blazer, 4 inch lift, 37inch tires, 4.88 gears with a lunchbox in the rear. She's all kinds of fun, but recently I learned I have a cracked block and need a new motor, it's either going to be another 350, or a 5.3 ls, still trying to figure out what I want to do but it's always all kinds of fun!

Obviously a different kind a Chevy. Maybe I could call it a mini square cause it's a 87 S10, but that probably just to make me feel good or something. I've got a Blazer but that's running fine. I have this 87 S10 that I'm wanting to throw in an LS and do a SAS on it to take on the trails. I'm, at least on paper, going to go with an LS just because it seems like I'd get the best bang for my buck and weight. I'm still in the planning phase of it all though. The good thing is that there's plenty of people who've done it and paved the way.

The K5 is already injected so a 350 replacement is common sense answer. Welcome from NC also.
