Well I wish I could get on here and talk about all of the progress I have been making but i can't. I have been busy doing body work for other people on my days off for extra cash. Only real progress I can report is that I sold my fiberglass roll pan and ordered the steel roll pan. Should be in by the end of the week so I can put it on this weekend. Once that is done I can get all of the body work done and get it in primer.

Since I couldn't show any progress on the s10 I thought I would post a couple of pics of a side project. My brother in law bought a 94 silverado and I shaved his tailgate for him. Here a before and after pic, crappy pics but it turned out good.

Me and this s10 are not getting along to say the least. I finally had a little bit of free time so I decided to try and get some work done on this thing. I decided to put the roll pan on and when I put it against the truck it does not fit. I have it as high as possible while still being able to open the tailgate without dragging and it is still hanging down over a inch below the sides of the truck. Not sure if I got a roll pan (which I can't see since they are all stamped) or if something is jacked up with the truck. The lower body line looks good, it looks and feels on inside and out like the factory shape and everything. Next problem is when I decided to test fit my taillights for the first time. They are not fitting right either. Thre is a big gap all the way around them and are sitting slightly crooked. So now I'm trying to decide between three options. Option A of I should spend a ton of time trying to make these parts fit. Option B of just welding the whole rear end up tailgate roll pan and taillights and running a led light bar, or option C of just cutting my losses and selling this thing and buy something else to build up. I would love some input from some people. I know I could get my money back out of it and find something else to work on that is already running and driving, just trying to decide what is the best plan. I have found a lot of spots with thick places of bondo and this may be a indicator of a bad time in its life. Anyways nothing positive to post at this time just some bitching on my part. Feel free to give your input.

Ill get you some pics of my rollpan on my dime. I had to cut some of the top off of it so the tailgate would clear and the bottom would be flush with the bottom of the body on the bedsides.

No there was a lip at the top that was to attach to the bed bottom that i had to cut off so the tailgate would slid up high enough so the tailgate would work right and then the bottom would line up
