87 R10 Cuts off at stop lights

87 Silverado cuts off at stop lights in drive and neutral. stumbles and cuts out on accel surging real bad just very unresponsive. new IAC New Injectors I have checked for vaccum leaks....The previous owner installed a holley tbi and had 350 injectors in it (its a 305) please help!!

also I forgot to say it runs great when you first start it up but once it gets about warm it wants to run like crap

I'm inclined to think coolant temp switch (the one in the intake that the ECM reads.)

I'm inclined to think coolant temp switch (the one in the intake that the ECM reads.)
I replaced coolant temp sensor in feb. because it flat out wouldn't start when it was 40 degrees outside

what does that mean? lol

That means the piece of rubber fuel line that connects the in tank fuel pump to the metal fuel line, gets soggy and nasty, especially if you're running ethanol blended fuel, and it splits, then you're sucking 25-75% air with the fuel depending on how bad the split or rot has gotten.

So it let's the butterflies close gradually kinda like poop being tappered on the ends so your ******* don't slam shut. Right? Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. Maybe they do too now. :laughing1:
