How do you tighten up the rear barn doors, I see a latch in the bottom of the door and a catch on the bottom sill.
Should I try sliding the catch towards the body a little?
Thanks

Are you dealing with leaks? Or just rattles?

There's a rod that goes to the top of the door it can rattle like a sun of a gun too. I think there's suppose to be a piece of foam donut to keep it from rattles. I used some pool noodle on mine. Helped alot.

Yeah, missing weatherstripping and improperly adjusted latches can cause a lot of rattles. If the rear sill is rotted out underneath, it can cause a lot of door rattles too, due to body flex.

I just remembered too that Is it getting two clicks or just one? I had mine adjusted too far in and was only latching on first catch.
It certainly feels like one click, which part should I move? No rust on the vehicle

There should be two clicks. Like the side doors. Try the latch at its furthest out position and see of you can feel the two clicks while closing slowly.

The striker loops get worn and then the door adjustment will be off. Also the holes on these are slotted so there is some adjustment available.
Had this happen on my '90 Burb and several G series work vans. These striker loops used to be available at the dealership parts department, and they weren't very expensive (under $5 each IIRC).

wrestled with mine for nearly 4 hours after installing new weather-stripping . i made the mistake of loosening the hinges and shimming the hinge plates . butchered up the
weather-strip before buying new ones and using baby powder to make them fit better .
