'84 k20 nv4500 swap HELP

Hey what's up guys, brand new to the site so excuse me if this topic has been covered before.

I have an 84 k20 with a 454 700r4 np208 set up, I know the 454 is not original but I don't know what it came out of, it was in the truck when I bought it.

So I'm starting the process of trying to track down the parts I'm going to need to do the nv4500 swap. I've read a bit on this swap already but still unsure of what exactly I should be looking for/need.

What year nv4500 should I be looking for, 92-94 or 95-up ?
Am I going to need to buy an adapter for my t-case or will bolt up? Or any type of adapter for that matter. I know that I'll probably have to swap in a 32 spline input for my t-case (not 100% sure because I haven't taken it off to look yet)
The goal is to not have to buy an adapter because it seems as if those are a bit pricey.
As for the cross member, from what I've read, I should be able to use the same one correct?

I know there is a bunch of stuff I'll be asking about once this project gets rolling, I'm just trying to get the basics out of the way and figure out what I should be looking for just to get me started.

Thanks in advance guys I appreciate any info/tips you can give me!
