Hello all,
As the title says, I have an 84 c10 with a 4/6 belltech swap (notched) and an early 80’s 9” rear end from a bronco so it’s a little wider at like 65” I think….. can’t remember. Either way I’m looking for wheels and tires and I’m a bit torn. I want 20’s for the look but worried about rubbing in the front however, this is an LS2 truck with single turbo so perhaps I should go 18”s with a little meat so I get better traction? Curious what you all think and what size / backspacing combos you would recommend for both.

Mines 4/6 CPP tube arms and 2" springs with Wilwood 2" spindles, speedway 9" housing with mounts welded for the flip, no notch.
Fronts are 20x8 4.25 backspace 245/40/20 planning to swap these for a set of 255/45/20 for more side wall.
Rears are 20x10 with 5.75 backspace 305/50/20

I could probably fit a 20x11 with 6" backspace with a 315 but it would be tight. This housing is stock width though so, you'll have to take that into account.

Personally, I only like 15s, 20s or 22s on these trucks. 17s and 18s just don't look right IMO. I'm ~5-5.5" up front and 8" in the rear with a 20x8 and 20x10.5 US Mag Roadster (I don't remember backspacing off hand but it's on their website). Running 255/40/20 and 315/35/20s, just the right amount of wheel and sidewall IMO. I know plenty of guys running 20s with 305s, 315s and 325s that hook up just fine. In a stock tub, you can fit an 11" wide wheel with the perfect backspacing but with that oddball axle, you need to get one of those wheel measuring tools, Speedway Motors has a good one I plan to buy eventually. Anything we say is a pure guess. I work at AMD if you need more room for more width, we sell 4" wider tubs for these trucks. I have our tubs and matching bedfloor in mine and it makes the 315s look skinny lol
