82 K10 wire fried

Hello guys. My 82 k10 project I bought not running. Guy said he had smoke coming out from behind the dash. The wire that is smoked is black with a white stripe. It comes out and loops back in the harness. I don’t have a wiring diagram yet but figured I’d ask here. Anyone have an idea? Just starting to troubleshoot.

Like I said just starting to troubleshoot. About to leave for a long spring break trip so won’t be able to dive into her until the following week.
