I thought this would be a good place to document my "daily driver" EFI conversion project on my 82 Suburban C10. So far I am still in the parts gathering phase, but plan to get after it once I have everything on deck. Doing the 87+ tank swap with sender and an Aeromotive 340lph pump feeding 650cc injectors. I guess these gen 1 small block remodels are out of fashion, but I just couldn't bring myself to ls swap it. That may be down the road though.
This project has morphed into redoing the AC system to R134a with a peanut style Sanden 7176 compressor, (this site has been a wealth of good info for AC info!) so that expanded to all new accessories with a type II PS pump, all mounted to the holley "water manifold" mid mount serpentine accessory drive setup. This will relocate the AC comp to the passenger side nice and tight to the block. So might as well install a new 4 row radiator and 14" electric fans. For the management, doing a Holley terminator x-max that will control the fans, fueling, ignition, the alternator (PWM signal) and eventually a 4L80E trans, among a few other things in the future.
Since I am still in the lego building phase I don't have many pics, but will try and update as I make progress.

Before shot of the engine bay - all original 350/700r4 that I rebuilt back in 2010. This engine will be replaced by a 421 stroker at some point backed by a 4L80E.
Manifold going together on the bench, this is the chi-com version of the Pro Flo XT setup with a 92mm TB and a 3bar MAP.
and just as expected, the injector fitment was goofy and triggered my OCD
Some redneck engineering to the rescue, used some spare nitrile o-rings to lift the injectors up so they don't pop out of the rails.
Much better fitment, I checked with 50 pounds of air to make sure I won't have any leaks once it's in the truck.
