Trying to lower my 79 C10 step side. Was planning to use the Belltech 6700 shackle but it looks like it may not sit low enough to fit under the bed. Will the angle change once installed or do I need a different part? Everything I read said this was the part I needed, so I’m a bit confused.

Really don’t want to do a flip kit.

Would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

They recommend notching the bed support bracket. I put these on a step side and didn’t notch the support. It does not hit but is very close...will probably do it before I drive it a lot.
