hi everybody!, new to posting on the site that have been on here for a while doing lots of reading on these classics lol. Anyway buying a new 76 that doesn't have a engine in it but that's no big deal, the owner send me some pictures looks good but what really caught my eye was when he took pictures of the wheels and tires. I had to do a double take and saw that there were only 6 lugs! I asked ham if it was a K 10, he said no it is a 20 and it is titled that way. So I guess my question is did these trucks ever come with 6 lug axles? the running gear in the truck was a 350, turbo 350 and a NP 203, thanks guys let me know

He may have bought it that way, but it didn't come from the factory that way.

since we're on the subject, kind of.. lol this would be my first 203 case, debating on converting to part time or leaving it full time. Any input? Will be driven in sand, snow/ice and road really about it (no mud, I hate it)

I've been reading that with it converted you have to run it in 4wd about every 200 miles? Is that rite?

Welcome to the forum.
It is good to engage the hubs and drive around for a bit. Keeps the grease in the slipyokes distributed and keeps the slip yokes from wearing out due to bouncing in one spot allatime.
