I just recently got an 84 6.2 diesel shortbed. The tranny was off due to a broken flex plate. I am trying to reinstall it I can get the tranny to bolt up but I'm having difficulty putting on the crossmember. Are there any tricks to putting on the crossmember? Does the transmission have to be completely bolted up before the crossmember? Thanks.
