60swow lucky you, ya I tried to go work on the truck skinned my knuckles once, cried and went back inside, god I hate winter

Me too, but I hate sweltering heat unless I'm in a dry climate like AZ. I can winters in the Southern States. I'd like to be a bit further South, but I won't do TX. AZ is where I'd like to be.

just thought I would give alittle update replaced the valve body, installed a B&M shift kit and my 700r4 rebuild was a success cant wait to get her back on the road

What kind of difference did the B&M kit make in the shift performance??? I like the B&M for Th350 and Th400, but never tried a B&M in a 700r4.

Adam- took it to a tranny shop guy said he had never seen it before, personally I looked though every part of the tranny did not find a spot for it and so Yes I overlooked it

Hotrod- It seems nice from driving it around the neighbor truck is not on the road yet so cant tell you for sure, Does she to clunk into gear pretty hard, and down shift pretty hard also
