I can do that. Do you have any idea what size hose? I might have a little bit laying around I can use if it isn’t too big.

1/8 I or 3/16 should work. Soften it in hot water first. Keep the hot water with you for a retry.

I’m working on the blazer again today, I’ll try the hose vent and see if it’s clogged, I’ve tried adjusting the tv cable since it held first for forever I put it in 4L and there’s no way it was in first, it didn’t have enough torque. It also didn’t shift past whatever gear it was in. My method of adjustment since it’s got an aftermarket cable of some sort, I pulled the cable until it stopped, held throttle linkage wot and adjusted the ratchet part to make the two equal out.

Dropped off the blazer at a shop today to have the trans looked at. Will have results within a week, either repair or replace.

Drumrollllll please, I was told that the torque converter was missing bolts and that must have caused the pump inside to fail. Is that a plausible scenario? I’m going to pick the blazer up today with a new to me trans in it.

I've had torque converter bolts go loose once myself on a 6.2 and heard others happen, it's a horrible sound. I don't see anyone driving it with the sound you get when they go loose. I'm not a transmission guy but I don't see how that would cause it but if the front pump was shot. It's shot. I Hope this one works out for a long time.

I don’t know if they came loose or weren’t put in but I was just told there were bolts missing to the torque converter. I’m hoping this other trans lasts a good while, I got a good deal on it but either way building this one for a daily driver.

Took blazer on a test drive shifted and got up to 40 but had so much slop all over the road I gotta change the drag link. Time to go back through an old forum to find part numbers for the drag link adjustment sleeve and tie rod at the knuckle. I’ve found the pitman arm side.
