6.2 unknown part?

Is there any way to Test this to see if it's Good or not? I also do NOT know the actual name for this.
Also 2nd Picture I'm needing this Rubber Oil Hose That comes from the bottom of the Coolant Crossover Pipe.

second pic should just be 5/8 or 3/4" heater hose. it doesn't look like enough of a curve/bend for it to kink at operating temp.

Gotcha, That was on my Early 6.2 Parts engine, I'm using as Reference to the other one I'm building. For certain parts etc.

It rained most of the day until roughly 2:30 PM-ish here. So I'll have to go out in a bit and measure it, Before that, I'll look on Rockauto for that hose.

if your redoing the truck, just buy 6 or 7 so feet of it from the auto parts store next time you're there. you'll need both sizes for the heater box anyway.

I am indeed redoing the truck, Engine first IMO since the Red Block 6.2s are so hard to come by for parts. It's 90% Together though.

Huh... Gotcha, Again I'm not sure on the correct 6.2 Name, but My Truck does have A/C yes.

Looks like a fast idle when cold solenoid. Unplug the connector and apply 12 volts, if good it will move.

Found out its the cold idle advance solenoid.

It's the cold idle stepper solenoid. The cold idle advance is in the injection pump. They're both powered by the same circuit.
