I recently wanted to changed intake manifolds and do some other maitenance on my '84 K20 454 and when I removed the repop hurricane manifold, I noticed oil that was pooling underneath the exhaust crosssover hot air pocket or cavity, I quess that a good name for it. I had the crossover open on the gaskets although the manifold didnt need it I have an electric choke on the carb but for oil to be in this machined out area of the head is strange. You would have to go look at one to see what I'm talking about, I cannot remember ever seeing this?? I cannot understand other than a vacuum issue pulling the oil to that area? Any help would be appreciated. I snapped a couple pics but the pocket is dark along with the oil. I'm importing them to see if I can see the oil in the pic. thanks
