Hello, I'm going from 37X12.50R16.5 to 35x12.50R17. The rims that I bought have a 4 and 1/4 inch back spacing so I'm just wondering if anyone has used this size. I'm gonna run them on my 75 GMC K25 with a 6" lift it's 3/4 ton with 8 on 6.50 lugs. I believe if I measured correctly that the old rims have about a 4 inch back spacing.

You'll probably be fine.

The difference between 4" and 4.25" backspacing is that the 4.25 rim will be tucked 0.25" further into the wheel well than your previous wheels.

As long as you have the room without contacting anything, you'll be just fine.

Thanks for the info. I'll be installing the rims and tires soon. I also bought Dyna Beads to use instead of wheel weights so I'm hoping it works! I'm going to jack it up today and fit one of the rims on both the front and rear axles to look at clearance.

You probably wont have much trouble with traditional balancing weights
