Picked up a short block today, not completely sure what I have is great or not but thought I'd take a chance. It's a two bolt main, 3970010, suffix code on the pad is V0624CUB. There is a GM 38 cast on the block also. After a little searching I've come up with a couple possibilities of what this came out of but not sure. It had flat top pistons and a double roller timing chain, gm rods and looks to be stock crank and cam. Not sure if this has anything to do with anything but I'm stumped. Are there any other identifiers I need to find? I have a couple pics but having issues posting them
