2nd Square Body

I had an '86 about 15 years ago. Picked up this '87 last night for my 14yo son. He has exactly 2 years to get it ready for his daily driver. Bought for $300 with a thrown rod and no transmission.

Now, where to I find the original paint color/interior color/model codes and a decoder?

Yea, I could not believe how straight it is. I have only found two dents. One on the hood where I bet they always hit it to pop the hood and one small one inside bed. It doesn't look like they ever hauled anything in it. Still original seat cover and cushion, not missing or ruined foam.

Thanks! Found the paint code. It was charcoal gray....the color the boy had already picked.

Now, where do I find the interior color code and how do i find out what ll those codes are inside the glove box.

Also, how do I know if this was a sierra or sierra classic?

inside the glovebox it should tell you everything u need to know on alittle sticker, but alot of times people rip them out but they all had one, if you find it take a picture for us I find different optioned truck festinating
