I'm working on a project older Suburban. My leaf springs give it a 2" lift. Do I need to put shocks specifically for 2" lifts or factory sec shocks are ok? If I need special shocks anyone have any part numbers for any brands out there?

I'd get some shocks with more travel than OEM for sure. I don't have any part numbers, but you could measure the overall height of yours then look for some two inches bigger. Or, if you're not in a hurry I'm sure Rough country or someone would have something that'd work

Took a while but I found some for a 2" lift. I want the front to match the rear. But have to clean rust then paint before applying. Figure I do the cleaning and painting before applying the parts. Like you said I measured the change so thank you for the tip!

I found skyjacker rear shocks first, ordered from. Western Canada. Then had to order front from the US I think Ohio but it started with steering stabilizer from Quebec. Figure make it matchy! LOL.
