New (but old) 'round eye square guy' in NE Texas. She's a 1979 Royal Seirra 'R' code, K15. So far, we have rewired it, rebuilt the brakes, new body mounts, and 2" Rough country lift kit. We are also working on installing a 400 (R code) engine and a th400 transmission. She has Dana 44 axles that will need work as well. These pictures are the day we brought her home. The poor old girl is far from looking 'Royal' anymore and seems to have been forcibly deposed many years ago. We hope to bring back some of her past glory. We call her the 'Princess'. Wish us luck.

I am not an expert on corporate GM axles vs Dana 44s... I don't know which is better, or why one is better... Just going by what I was told. This is what it has. Dana 44, right?
