I pulled a bunch of parts off a 1991 Suburban for my 1987 pickup, I’ve made threads about adding other stuff before. This time it’s the interior grab handles on the inside above the doors. The Suburban had garb handles over the passenger front door and over both right and left rear passenger doors. I grabbed the left rear passenger handle and the right front passenger handle, and would like to add these to my truck. I’m thinking about drilling holes and using rivnuts but want to make sure there’s enough metal there to do that without running the bolt in and having it push out against the body of the truck. I’m probably overthinking it but before I tear the headliner out to make sure could someone on here with a torn down truck can take a look and tell me what you think? There’s a thread on here about adding these to a suburban that didn’t have them but nothing about adding these to a pickup truck that I could find.
