1985 chevy truck question

I have 2 1985 chevy trucks. I have a short bed and a long bed there both Silverado's. my long bed has been put together. my short bed is all original except the engine and tranny. Here my question in 1985 did they come with 3 speed auto's or 4 speed autos? my short bed has OD on the cluster the long bed dose not but my long bed was a 2wd at one point.

any help would be nice thanks jace

are they the weight capacity ? 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton

for example a V10 1987 comes with a th700r4, whereas a V30 comes with a TH400

Both a th350 3speed and a 700r4 were available in the 1/2 ton trucks
