New here, just got an 82 c10 and working swapping out the steering column with a CPP one. Problem is it came with a neutral safety switch already mounted and it looks different than oem. I got 2 plugs going in. The yellow/purple seem to plug right in, but the blue/green dont. Seems to have different orientated ends. I plan to just add female ends and plug them in. Just curious which one goes where. Picture 1 is OEM switch, Picture 2 is what I got and Picture 3 are the 2 plugs with the yellow/purple plugged in. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

That switch looks wrong. If you look up the switch for a 1982 it looks like the top picture of your original one. The one on your column is for a much older GM vehicle.

Why not just replace it? They are less than $20

That was my first thought, but the tab on the switch that slides into the column is different. It won't fit. I tried swapping switches but won't work. Just my luck!

then you have an old column. Probably best to replace the connectors to match the column.
