Thank you all so much for the help. I think I am understanding and that video that xm20k posted is so helpful. I get it now about it moving side to side and the click noise as it shifts.

I am so excited. Can't wait to try. The only thing I am concerned about is the ability to move it as easily as one of you guys make it look. You're able to loosen nuts and bolts, but I have to find some muscle at times to assist me.

THANK YOU! I will try this adjustment thing and if I run into a problem I will be back on to ask more questions. I'll be attempting to bleed brakes for the first time next. Just installed a rebuilt master cylinder and waved down a man on a motorcycle to help loosen some bolts on that thing. I get excited that I am actually understanding a lot of this stuff.
Mine is pretty easy to move, probably the reason they can get bumped out of adjustment so easily.

and "IIRC" is internet shorthand for "If I Remember Correctly"

Good luck Ma'am

One more question. My G30 is on a down slope, front end facing down. I have heavy duty chocks for the front tires, but will I need to do anything different because of its position? Can't move it since it isn't starting up.

"IIRC" is internet shorthand for "If I Remember Correctly". LOL. I was clueless.

Found the answer myself about the G30 being parked at an incline. I have to put the gear in Neutral while I am adjusting it so that I don't put a strain on the Park linkage.

Thank you all.
