Clutch safety switch wiring

I’m working on a 1986 k20 and I’m trying to get the clutch switch working again but I can’t find the second plug for the switch. I already have the plug with the ignition wire (purple) and the starter wire (purple). I can find the plug online but I don’t know where to run the wires. And I can’t just bypass the switch cause it needs to pass the out of province inspection. So does anyone know where I need to run the wires

You can make a jumper wire for the plug to disable it if you need to get it running now.

The harness plugs in to a switch at the top of the pedal towards the dash, it has a long plunger that “feels” when the clutch is depressed.

Where into the harness does it go and where does the second wire go

You are dealing with a manual correct? Manual transmission- Usually a yellow wire goes from ignition switch to clutch switch then purple wire goes to starter.
On a 86 automatic, it will be a purple wire from ignition switch that goes to starter.-(the automatic's manual safety switch is mechanical in the steering column)

Yes it’s a manual and the problem I’m having is there is a second place for a plug and I don’t know what wires run to the second plug. Then I had a thought, could the extra plug be there for a cruise turn off.

A quick look at Rockauto only shows one switch (no with or without cruise) and it only has a single 2 blade connector.

Are you looking at the switch, the harness plug or just a diagram. Post a pic of your switch, specifically showing the 2 places for connectors.
