I am new to this forum, this looks like a really good place for information. I have been working on a 1980 GMC C1500 with a 4.1L 250 inline 6 for almost a year. I have gotten it drivable and have been slowly fixing years of wear and tear on it.

The distributor TVS has been broke off, I want to replace it but I can’t determine what part number it is. It looks like they are identified by color, does anyone what color or OE part number the distributor and EGR TVS’s are for this truck?

Looks like it is a two port vacuum switch:

The vacuum lines should have a delay valve also.

Most of the same era V8's have an orange 4 port:

I don't know the 6 cyl switch color.

Here it is:

TVS (click)

You can tell it is for the vacuum advance because it has the cindered iron air bleed.

Thanks everyone. Now just have to wait for the snow to go away to drive it again.
