1979 k10 stepside fuel filler hose

From looking around I noticed the stepside fuel filler hoses aren't available anymore. I was wondering if someone could post a picture of what the stock setup looks like so I got a idea for when I make one? Thanks in advance!

I don't have a picture of an original hose, but I do remember what I used to make one (for the passenger side) for my '84. I used a section of a fleetside hose, along with a section of lower radiator hose for an '89 Celebrity with 2.8 v6. I coupled them with a steel sleeve.

Although the rad hose is not designed for fuel, it has held up just fine for several years now. Hopefully somebody will manufacture proper replacement hoses soon.

I can't view that for some reason.

I remembered that the filler hose diameter changed at some point. Mine is an '84, but the bed came from a late 70's truck. Should be the same size as yours I think.

Alright thanks, as long as everything goes as planned I'm going to pick the truck up around the 30th and just wondered what I got myself into before I got it. I'll let you know how it goes after I get one made and installed. Thanks again for the help!
