I don't know why they would be, they really would be.

You need one 3 3/8 for the cast part by the pig and 3 3". For a Dana 44 or a 10 bolt.

The axle in your picture is a 10 bolt.

what is 3 3"? Is that a typo?

Sorry, yes it was, or at least unclear. You need one sized 3 3/8, and 3 sized 3" Your local part's store should carry them.

Don't have measurements yet, but the one larger ubolt is big enough and goes on near the pumpkin, the other three are too small. Cousin said he could bang on with a hammer, but then they'd be a V shape and they wouldn't go into the plates.

Dana 44 tube is 2 3/4"
Corporate 10 bolt is 3"

i don't have a caliper big enough for exact measurement, so this was done with tape measure.

Somehow, somewhere, your Dana 44 got swapped for a light 1/2 ton model.

You need the ubolt sizes I listed above for a 3/4 front, Dana 44 or 10 bolt.

I don't know that they referred to them one way or the other, I know I had a 76 1/2 that had the bigger tube's, that's how I know the difference. It may have been swapped also, who know's?

The correct one's for your 3/4 ton will be correct for the 3/4 ton 10b also.

You hopefully do, otherwise the axle was flopping around in there way too much to be safe.

You need 3/4 ubolts and plates to match your 3/4 front end, or you need to find a small tube 44 and swap your 8 lug brakes onto it to match you 1/2 ton plates and ubolts.

The d44 tubes are smaller.

I'm confused as to why not buy new u-bolts for the 10 bolt? They aren't supposed to get reused anyway.

And the d44 plates should work with just a little hole slottin'. We're talking about 1/16" per hole.

Not all 44 tube's are smaller though, but yes, buy the matching Ubolts to go with the 3/4 ton front lol.
