Thanks for the warning. He never replied to my pm so I never sent any money. I happened to find the parts I needed locally anyway.

Exactly. I have given him the benefit of doubt. However my patience is at an end. I paid using a certified letter and postal money order. I am pretty sure this constitutes postal fraud. I will be in contact with the post office. I will send him another registered letter letting him know the consequences of his actions. FWIW-I don't think this is over just yet.
