So instead of hacking off an arm and a leg for 35" and up tires I've found you can buy cheap military style rubber online with 75-100% tread. The catch: they fit 16.5" rims which are the standard hummer wheel I believe.. I mean I found 37" tires for $150 each! What I did not find is 16.5" wheels that have a chevy 6 bolt lug pattern to fit my '80 K10. I could only find 8 lug. Anyone know somewhere to find 6 bolt 16.5's? Or maybe 8 to 6 lug adapters? Or is there any downfall to buying these tires at all? Any insight would be helpful thanks

eBay for billet aluminum lug adapters and spacers I have the hummer rims and 37 inch tires on my k20 just needed a 2 inch spacer to clear the caliper in the front since I was already 8 lug

Alright that makes sense, what is your lug pattern? And do you happen to know the lug pattern for a 1980 k10? I think its 6x5.5?
