First off I understand a 12v cummins needs 12v to the starter and 12v to the fuel and thats pretty much it.

my questions is when I removed the old 6.2 harness it attachs right to the fuseblock(the block is three pieces) the main piece of the block is that harness, so my question is how can I remove all this useless wiring but yet still have the fuseblock put together...if this makes any sense at all

the harness Im removing has the sending unit power wiring and windshield wiper motor in it so I will have to remove those put IDK how too

IIRC, the main block mounts to the firewall and includes the interior harness, then there's the two parts under the hood. One half is the lighting harness, the other is engine related. I'd guess that you can just remove the unused wires from that one part of the junction and then put it back together.

If I Remember Correctly

You will probably have to heat up that goo and then there will still be a tiny little tab in there somewhere to release the wire/terminal. Most folks probably just cut the wire flush.

Re-purpose some of the wires you wanted to get rid of?
