Moving on from Ford, new owner of 1981 Suburban

How's the best way to tow this?
Thanks for the heads up. Trust me this was a one time thing and I'm glad everything went well. I mean until I was home and trying to unload it, but that's a different story haha. Sorry for taking forever to reply, I'm alive and well. I ended up loading it backwards and used 2 ratchets for the steering. One on each side of the wheel connecting to the window pillar, then left the front windows down. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of that. It was dark and snowing when...- bairdandrew77

How's the best way to tow this?
This car wasn't equipped with seat belts haha but that does give me an idea. I can roll down the windows and go from the steering wheel to an adequate mounting area under the car on both sides with ratchets. This will be in addition to the eye bolts so there will be 4 ratchets holding it still...- bairdandrew77

Yup it's an RR layout, which is why I can't do the the conventional drop driveshaft method. Pulling the cv axles is going to be a major inconvenience, especially considering I'm picking it up outside and never worked on an RR vehicle before.
