It does sound like a blend door issue. Is the return hose from the core hot all the way to the radiator? Try a lower temp thermostat or drill a couple bypass holes in your current thermostat. The lower temp stat or holes would promote more flow through the cooling system. I have low temp stats...- Beatdown Z

Water in my Diff..
I would pull the front carrier out, break it down, and clean as much as you can. Throw in new inner axle seals and you'll likely find that the outers need some attention. Go ahead and order spindle bearing and seal kits and some hub seals. I sure the wheel bearings need some attention too...- Beatdown Z

Anyone lower a 4x4

I put a 7-blade fan, Hayden 2747 HD fan clutch, MotoRad 2000-160 t-stat w/bypass drilled, and a chopped up NBS Silverado shroud on the cammed 454 under the hood of my brother's squarebody. Need advice, swirl port 350
Welp, he says with the 3.73's it feels like it did with the 2.73's and stock cam. He is going to swap the stock cam back in, for the extra off-idle grunt and vacuum for his power brakes. Now I need to work on convincing him to replace that Gov-Bomb diff it has in it. :shitsweak:- Beatdown Z

What of brand of engine oil and oil filter do you use?
I run Rotella in my cammed/turbo'd LSx motors. Brad Penn in my built SBC in my camaro and in my brother's cammed 454. I run Mobil 1 synthetic in all the daily drivers. My main oil filter brands are Wix and Purolator. I do run the Fram Racing filters on my SBC/BBC's.- Beatdown Z

This is what happened to his gears last weekend. He was getting ready to ebay another set of 2.73's! Luckily I had 3.73's on the shelf. So we'll see how he likes the truck with the new gears in a day or two.- Beatdown Z
