    Ok, here goes... Shifter is different, but had another laying around off a 400 turbo that will work. long stabilizer bar is different by two inches. Output shaft is bigger but has been replaced with 32 spline. Both driveshafts are different. Rear is shorter and front is longer. And yes...

    Have a 1979 chevrolet 4x4 1/2 ton with 3/4 ton springs. Converting from a 350/ 350 combo with NP 203 to 454/ 400 combo with NP 203. The block is about 2.5 inches longer and the tranny too. Are the stabilizer brackets longer too? Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
