k5 bedside question
I'm fixing to replace a pass side rear quarter on a 82. Is it possible to get the swb bed side to work. I've got more time than money right now. I have a chance to buy a whole section that's already been cut off. He said he cut up a k5 that somebody modded long story short it's in excellent...- tspears

No weld door striker fix
Both sides finished and doors shut perfect Fyi it wasn't hard to do but anytime u mess with countersunk bolts it's a royal pain in the azz to get right. Just be careful when doing your layout and drilling holes.- tspears

Here's some more pics. Pass side didn't go as easy as the driver side. Previous repair attempt was a hack job. That's why they cracked back out.- tspears

This is my fix to the cracked out door striker problem. About thirty minutes to make here's a few pics. I still have the pass side to do so I'll take more pics when I'm making that one. Once done they will be polished and should look pretty good- tspears

fuel tank help
Quick question is there any difference between the 91 k5 fuel tank vs a 81 k5 fuel tank. I'm getting prepared to do a ls swap. Or can I just get the sending unit assembly with fuel pump and drop in my tank.- tspears

plexiglass rear panels
I've been kicking around the idea of using Plexiglas for my side just wanted to see if there is any bad reasons why I shouldn't. A couple of thing why I thought it would be great is that it won't get messed up if it get wet. Two before I cover them I can put them in and mark all of my holes -

oil pan question
I have a 82 k5 2wd and have a pretty bad oil leak coming from the pan gasket. My question will the pan come out with out having to raise the engine. Any help or pointers would be great.- tspears
