I have a question about mounting bags on the front. I know that to gain the max drop and allow enough room for bag compression the standard option is to cup the stock lower arms. Rescued '84 in South Alabama.
I would have done it a bit different after doing this one but I think it turned out pretty believable. Just some thin layers of metal flake and wet masking the areas I wanted to have the old paint show through then .125 pinstripe tape- I'll sand it all down before clearing it. Cutting coils
This is 2 full coils cut, stock front shocks, rear flip and 2 inch drop shackles. Relocated upper shock perch for the rear shocks and used stock length front shocks all around. Rescued '84 in South Alabama.
Saved this '84 Silverado from meth heads in July of 21. Absolutely trashed, crack pipe and needles hidden in the dash. Scraped off all the paint by hand and lowered it, working on my welding skills so I can bag it early next year.- wheeliemammoth
