    My '78 GMC is missing the grill. I found two GMC grills in a salvage yard, but neither is attached to a truck. Both grills are the same style. Is there a part number on the grill somewhere ? From photos on the internet the grills appear to look like the '78 but it could be an '80 too...

    I'm new from San Antonio

    I have a '78 GMC 1500 Sierra with NP205 Dana 44 and SM465. I have thought about a 4BT swap for the truck. I think I'll be patient on that conversion as my knowledge level is very low. Does anyone know where I can order a new OEM style grill for the '78 GMC? Tim
