Thanks for the idea, I checked rock auto, they don't have it, it seems a replacement is not available, like it would be for a caliper or master cyl. Edit- I found one from carolina custom in the link below re: prop valves, I guess I'll grab that one unless it's possibly just an O ring issue... -

I'm on my 3rd Stella, (in the fancy glass and everything), celebrating getting the accumulator cover on with no leak finally. test drive revealed the shift points much improved after adjusting tv cable. Thanks for your help! Patrick- TFLT

O.K., I am a failure... with the help of my son, after inspecting, cleaning and reassembling the accumulator, he turned the key as I watched the cover and was thrilled to see no leak. about 1 minute after I proclaimed our success it started leaking. not as bad as yesterday, but steadily...- TFLT

no, nothing strange. no shift kit, fresh fluid and filter over the summer. it had a slight weep at the cover. it also shifts early but I just adjusted the tv cable and think that should take care of it. I'm gonna go out and see if I can get that cover on without leaking, fingers crossed! will...- TFLT

10-4 I installed it 3 times, and got puked on each time. I picked up 2 sizes of the cap O ring and tried both sizes, same result. I also got teflon as well as metal piston seals, maybe I'll try the metal seals tomorrow. there were tefon seals on the piston to start with so I stuck the...- TFLT

Hi Team, can someone please advise if the teflon oil seals on the piston are interchangable with the metal seals? I thought I had an easy fix on my hands when I spotted an oil leak from the accumulator cover. I aquired new piston seals and O rings (2 sizes) for the cover and a new spring...- TFLT
