    Help with lift.

Whats your goal for the truck? If you have 2" up front, ORD makes a 2.5" shackle flip. You could go that route and maybe an ez inch block or ORD zero rate add-a-leaf block to level it out. Personally I like the low lift option to the suspension working like it should. Hope that helps!

    Blazer fuel tank swap help

Kleedus - Thought that may be a problem but I have not had time to test fit anything yet. I'll probably just have to remove it and build a new center mounted cross bar for the shocks.

    Blazer fuel tank swap help

Yea, I saw that one and the captkaoscustoms.com write up, thanks. Neither address the 4 vs 3 hose ends on the sending unit. Hopefully someone has dealt with this issue also and can guide me in the right direction.

    Blazer fuel tank swap help

Hopefully someone can help me with this swap... Swapping in a 31 gallon Blazer tank into my K30. I have a new tank and was looking into getting a new fuel sending unit for it. I am using the same era of Blazer tank (1986 - for carb) I see the blazer sending units have four hose fittings...

    Tire size with 6" lift?

Yes, some folks run a rear spacer to even the width out.

    Tire size with 6" lift?

Good spot... That was the test fit only.

    Tire size with 6" lift?

37's should fit pretty nice for you. I have 6" up front and 4.5" in the back. This is with 40's before trimming.

    Rough Country?

Very happy with these rear RC springs. They are softer riding than my 4" ProComps right off the bat. I would imagine that a majority of it has to do with the amount of spring arch on the 4" PC vs the 2" RC. The real test will be their performance off-road. I wish the snow would start melting...

    Rough Country?

Just got the RC 8036 springs yesterday and I hope to put them on tomorrow. They are well built and look to be a quality spring. I'll post up the driving first impressions. I should get my new 40's on here in the next couple weeks so I hope to really try them out soon.

    Rough Country?

You mentioned replacing with a grade 8 bolt so that usually cues the reply given. Bummer to hear about your problem. I have never personally tried their springs but have a pair enroute as we speak. They will be going on the back of my one ton so stiff is good? hehe stiff is good....

    Rough Country?

The leaf spring center pins are often a very light grade bolt. They are only supposed to be used to hold the packs together. Any torque will strip the with ease. Very common misnomer...

maybe got to big of tires!?

That is my plan. 40" Maxxis on mine with a 6" lift. I will cut to fit and adjust the bump stops. I want a lower COG with decent sized meats. I would leave it if I were you but obviously I'm bias... 8" seems to open another can of worms...

    14 bolt or dana 70

14 Bolt all the way. Cheapest Detroit of any big axle, arguably stronger than the 70 & more plentiful (Also less variations). The only way I would consider the 70 is if I needed lower than the 5.38 gear ratio. The gem of a D70 is the D70U in my opinion. Same carrier bearings as a D70 w/ a D60...

6 inch lift or 4 inch lift

Here this may help you. The more I look at yours, they look like 5 leafs when mine are 6. I'm thinking maybe you have the 4" pack.

    4" lift for a 1 ton

Good choice. FYI, the ORD HD shackles are .5" longer than the stock ones. These are a great option also and they are cheaper - http://diy4x.com/cart/index.php?route=product/product&path=24&product_id=113 As for shocks, I cut off the week factory mounts that hang down and some tougher shock...

    B52 swap help

Yea, I thought I read that just the 52" springs alone move the axle forward 2" or so. Even if I don't have to relocate the shackles, I'll beef up the mounting bracket with one of the manufactures kits. I'll for sure have to do crossover steering as well I'm sure.

    B52 swap help

On my 86 K30. Settled on the B52 kit from DIY4x. Looking for about 6-7" or so in the front to run 39.5's. I'll hack the fenders to open the wheel wells for sure. I want a low COG and some decent flexibility. My plan was the B52 kit and a pair of 2-3" lift springs get me up there. I also read...
