New Leaf Springs...How did I goof it up?
Yes, the HD springs are 56. So does that mean the truck chassis came from the factory outfitted for 56 springs and not the standards 52?- lasvegas76C10

Hello Everyone. I have a 1976 C10 Cheyenne. Previous (original) owner had a heavy duty leaf pack (8/1) on the truck when I purchased it. Thanks everyone for the replies so far. I wonder if we need to "shift" the springs back more using a crowbar, etc. Placing a bar in the rear shackle area and forcing the entire spring assembly to move back, in order to line things up.
