TH400 2WD to 4WD Question

I was thinking of doing the same thing. But my turbo400 came with the Doug Nash (crash) overdrive. Does anyone know if they used a different tail shaft to tie into that overdrive system?

I'm fixing my first mistake I just pulled that 305 out. I scored on a 400 small block with a turbo 400 but it's 2 wheel transmission.

Hey my name is Alex old dude with a 77 GMC Jimmy (k5). It's been 9 years since she last ran. Since I'm stuck at home and wife sick of me being at home. I pulled her out from the back yard and started fixing the wrong mods that where done to her.
