Hey guys I have a question is there anyway to keep my stock column when changing from a turbo 350 to a 700r4?

You can keep the column but will have to get the linkage for the 700 as it has one more gear.

you can keep it drive will be overdrive,2nd will be drive, 1rst will be 2nd , and it may or may not drop far enough for 1rst.

you can also snag the shift plate out of any latter 700r4 column including 88-95? gmts and fit it to the earlier 3 speed column which is what i did and used all the test of the turbo 350 linkage. .
