Brake hose issues with lowered front end C30
it does have a small bracket that bolts to the upper control but theres no adjustment to it. i tried to reroute the factory (but new hose) hose. there was no rerouting where the hose wasnt way too short- Mad gimp

Brake hose issues with lowered front end C30
I installed 3" drop spindles and 2" drop coils, now my brake hoses hit the spindles. has anybody had this issue? if so, how did you resolve the issue? its a 79 C30 dually.- Mad gimp

hydroboost for the handicapped
I'm new to hydroboost systems! my 79 crew cab has the hydro boost the 454 has a rather aggressive vacuum killing cam. I need to retain the hydroboost. my question is if for any reason the engine dies going down the highway, how hard is it to get the truck stopped. I must explain myself, so this... -

I have a cambell 80 gallon compressor and havent had a moments problem out of it in 18 years. It gets used hard too. The key is maintenance. Oil changes, air filter and belt service and keep the tank drained.- Mad gimp

Cant use a bolt because it pipe thread. I beleive 1/8th inch npt. You could go to local hardware store that sells plumbing supplies and get a pipe plug. Where do you have your oil pressure sending unit now? Thats typically where the factory oil sender would go. There would be a nipple going...- Mad gimp

the main thing i need to know is if the secondary metering block is the correct one for this carb so i know which gasket to use. there was no gasket in it to go by. i looked on holley's website and all there part number lookup says is NA for secondary metering block.- Mad gimp

You took yours drivers test in a prius? I was lucky i took my drivers test in a 1979 4 wheel drive suburban with snow on the ground. I dont know how it is in other states but in Illinois if you spin a tire while testing its an automatic failure. Good thing this suburban was severely underpowered...- Mad gimp

Thank you but your not seeing the door panels that are faded and missing trim or the saggin headliner and somebodys failed attempt at refinishing some of the plastic trim. My plans are to redo the headliner from white vynil to red fabric. And restore the door panels and paint all the white...
