    Help with Windshield Wiper Blades

I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. I am on my third set of wiper blades that just don't fit on the post arm like the originals. What is everyone using for wiper blade replacements? Tried the Anco and Trico Gold. The attaching points don't feel right on them.

    Jumpy oil pressure gauge

Every once in a while the gauge will start bouncing around like it's an electrical thing. Most times it's steady and rock solid, then it will start getting jitters. Both under power and at idle. Is this a sign of a bad sending unit. Other than that all is well and the engine performance is...

fuel switching valve cover attaching points?

Since taking the cover off to replace the valve, I can't for the life of me remember how it all goes back together. I have the furthest hole back attached and the bar attaching it to the frame, but the furtherst forward hole in the cover does not appear to have anywhere to bolt to. Can't find...

    What are the odds

Took a month but finally figured it all out. What are the odds of having a bad ground on a new fuel tank switch and a bad switching valve. Not being a mechanic or electrical engineer happy to have her rolling along in tip top shape.

    Splash guard ideas

Since changing rims and gaining some inches sticking out, is there nice molded splash guards made for squares? Can't seem to find any.

    It's never that easy

Settled on the Method 701 rim, unfortunately it has a backspace of 4 1/2" and it touches the steering tie rod. Now I have to get the adapters.

    New discovery on fuel issue

I am posting in case someone else has this issue. 1. Truck runs when switching tanks left and right. Gauge reads past full but not pegged at 3 O'clock. (unknown amount of fuel in either tank). 2. When the right tank electrical connector is disconnected at the fuel pump (ground maintained), fuel...

    Importance of charcoal (Evap) canister

Since I flooded mine, I have blown it out and let it dry. How important is this thing if all the other pollution equipment is removed. It's only for fumes right? If it dosen't smell like gas and all the ports appear operational, am I good to go with reinstalling?

    Today's drama, it never ends!

Rockauto said these fit, look at the difference. Dead in the water till I get new ones.

    Fuel tank overfilled

Made the mistake of over filling one of the saddle tanks. Got fuel pouring from the canister in the front next to the radiator. Is that canister ruined now, it's probably full of gas. I'll check it in the morning.

    Worst week so far!!

So I have had a inconsistant issue of my left saddle tank intermitantly struggling to work, engine bogs when I switched tanks to it. I threw the credit card at it thinking I would muscle my way into it working. Starting with the six port fuel switching valve $65. Worked for a day, then back to...

What rim that can use the stock hubcaps?

After much thought, I would like to use the original hubcaps, picture shown from one of our members here. What rims 16x8 should I look for that will accomodate my tires and these hubcaps? Before I go blind with google and offset nonsense.

    new rotors old hubs

Getting ready for front brakes. Does everyone reuse the hubs, pressing them out? How about the lugs? Whats the smartest way to go? Can the hubs/lugs and rotors be purchased as a kit? Google not helping, need Square insiders help.

    Gas tank replacement

I dreaded doing the job, after all is said and done it was fairly easy. I'll get to do it again soon because I didn't check the new sending unit before bolting it all back up, now my gas gauge is not working.

    Unbelievable price at O'reillys today.

Replacing the gas tank $109 on Amazon and $100 for a new fuel pump setup. Free at the door next. Replacing the three fuel lines from the tank to the rail, wanted a little more play to not struggle. $7.91 a foot $50 total. Shorted 3" on one hose and 1/2" on another. Damn. A few pieces of fuel...

    PSA fuel switching valve solution

Before changing my fuel switching valve, I tried and experiment. Whenever I switched tanks on the "fly" the truck wanted to die. If I switched back it would be fine. Just today before going through the replacement process, new part in hand, I switched tanks while the ignition was off, then...

    What rims are these?

Anyone know what rims these are. They are all bent or warped somewhat and no local shop wants to take on the straighting job. Looking to replace them with similar but can't find them anywhere. Help
  22. Ron Sebastian

I have a feeling this is going to get expensive.

So far I have changed tires and had them road force balanced with weight hammered onto the rims, not the little stickers ($1100). Went through two sets of tires, so thinking they are good but the rims are suspect. Then changed all steering tie rods and ball joints ($1200). Just finished adding...

    Method 701 milled aluminium rims

Thinking of putting these on. $333 each. Anyone have a thought? I thought they would look great on the black square.

Before you string me up ..

I bought the truck this way years ago. It hasn't killed me yet. I would like to get rid of the 3"of blocks in the front. Is it safe to say 3" lift leaf springs would provide the same lift so everything would still line up as it is now? Is Skyjacker or other better for a more comfortable ride?

    Replacing front steering components question

I'm in the process of ordering new Tie Rods and Ball Joints and came to the Center Link Adjusting Tube. I know that it should come off with no problem, but concerned if I have to destroy some threads. I can't seem to find that item anywhere. I'd like to know there will be a bridge to cross if it...
