    I just did another test because the first time could of been just pure luck, this time around 2/3 test showed no spark but one time it did, color was white

    Probably true, I looked down the carb it looks to be doing perfectly fine, what would the next step be?

    It reads 12.24v but there are a ton of crimped spots on that wire, I'll see what happens if I clean the wire up and solder rather than crimp

    It does blow smoke from the exhaust but it's more of a white color and only on start up, if I drive it for about 10 seconds the smoke stops coming

    So I unplugged this wire like it was before and she didn't start at all, plugged it back in and I got her to start again, but only for a second. As you can see the wire is in horrible condition. I'l try fixing it up and trying again, I'll keep you updated

    I pulled two plugs and to my surprise the truck started up while I was doing the test so I turned the key off, plugged them back in and she started up again but now she starts but dies out in a couple seconds unless I have my foot on the pedal.

    It's just a 49 state truck with the ESC module and regular cab

    Sounds like good advice, also I dont know if it sparks when it isnt starting, is there a way to check with a multi meter / test light?

    In response to the fused wire, it isn't a wire connected to any fuses, Idk its probably not what its called thats just what I read it was called. It was one of the wires that goes into the distributor, I'll take a picture when i can

    Yeah, the guy who owned the truck before me converted to a ribbed belt style, I honestly have no idea what' supposed to be in this thing. Im 99% sure I got the wires hooked up correctly, I'm thinking AutoZone gave me the wrong alternator

    I picked up a multi meter, I did the standard alternator test, it reads 12.4v when on and 12.5 when the truck is off, basically the alternator is doing absolutey nothing. Could it be the wrong type of Alternator?

    The choke is plugged in, if I unplug the choke the light turns off

    Oh okay, yeah all the lights work and gauges so I assume the cluster is good, no warning lights show other than the choke light.

    I cleaned all the grounds, the draw is gone, not sure what an idiot light is, the only light I have on my cluster that shows is the choke light. I probed the wires with a indicator light and it showed power on the red wire but not the brown/black one, the brown/black one shows when the truck is...
