    Backfire on one side

It shouldn't be an exhaust leak. Just put on brand new gaskets with the rest of the exhaust and made sure that the bolts were tight on. With the open headers i did have a backfire too, but my guess with that is the back pressure coming in.

    Backfire on one side

On my 350 just put headers on around a month ago or so and ran them open when the weather was nice. Threw some exhaust on before the cold came through. Once the exhaust got on ran into a backfire only on the pass side through the exhaust. Figured it's a valve too loose or tight. Only happens in...

engine runs like crap when cold

I would disagree with the fuel filter, when mine clogged it was about 60 and it would not sustain itself at all. Even in idle it was really rough. Lots of missing too even after it was hot. Try to run it on starter fluid. That will tell you if it's spark or fuel problem. Done that to my truck...

    Emergency Flashers and Horn

You might check the relay for your horn. Mine wasn't working before (Dumbass who owned it before me hooked the radio into the horn fuse) I would hear the relay click every time I'd hit the horn. It's kinda quiet, but there and make sure your horns have a nice ground to work on. Another reason...

    Bright/turn signal lever

So on my truck I no longer have brights, the lever works for the signals, but not for the brights. Wanting to know if it's the actual lever before i get another. Also, i don't hear it clicking anymore like it should when I pull it towards me. If so how hard is it to replace that? I take it you...

am I better staying with a 4 inch lift or going to a 6inch

Honestly, I prefer a bigger truck. That's just me though. If you have stock rims like a do, they don't give a huge selection of bigger tires. I think I can barely get 37's with my factory 15's. I know everyone loves a big truck, but if you're doing suspension lift keep in mind you will have to...

Noise by the flywheel and bellhousing cover

The motor swap was a little over a year ago. I don't really have any loss of power either. Still gets up and goes pretty quick haha also i don't really notice any of the other problems with the torque converter either

Noise by the flywheel and bellhousing cover

The last few days I have a ticking noise (in drive and moving seems to stop with revving or stopped) and in reverse (usually an awful screaming noise.) Last time I had this problem I did see the flywheel was grinding on the bellhousing cover (which was the motor mount which is about 4 months old...

Rear diff making a popping noise

I'm assuming that's the same thing that was wrong with mine too. It is a LSD and I used to just fill it with the autozone 80-90 gear oil without anything else. I put 64 ounces of the Lucas Oil LSD oil in it then topped it off with the autozone crap and it seems to have went away. Never would...

Rear diff making a popping noise

Im pretty sure its a limited slip. Dont really know much about them. 1 thing I did notice was the rod that holds the clips for the axles. when just turning one wheel there would be a point where it would pull itself in just a hair then pop back out. Only does so when turning one wheel. Turned...

Rear diff making a popping noise

Had a problem with this for a little while. Just replaced the pinion seal and housing gasket to stop a leak (Thought the noise was from low fluid levels) gotten a lot better after that, but now when making turns there's a pop that vibrates the whole truck. Can feel it in the cab. The harder the...
